WOLVERHAMPTON'S Play-off push continued with a storming 56-38 win over Lakeside at Monmore Green.
It was a solid all-round team display by the Parrys International Wolves who remain unbeaten on their own track.
Surprisingly no home rider went through the card. Fredrik Lindgren dropped his only point to an opponent in heat 10, to Joonas Davidsson.
The Hammers top scorers return was limited, when after a superb gate in heat 14, he carried too much speed into the first turn and went straight into the air fence. Wolves claimed a gift 5-1 in the re-run, with Daniel Davidsson, who had struggled with the Monmore turns all night, trailling at the back, this time having lost his steel shoe.
The race of the night was heat 5, Joe Screen and Stuart Robson exchanged passes throughout, with the Hammer eventually taking the victory.
