FREDDIE Lindgren is likely to be out for a fortnight after a crash in Poland on Sunday afternoon.
The Swedish International has suffered two broken fingers in his left hand and Polish medical officers initially advised him to take six weeks off.
But Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten spoke to Lindgren on Sunday evening and the rider is determined to be back a lot sooner.
Van Straaten said: "You know what speedway riders are like, they are just desperate to race and Freddie is no different, he just wants to get back on a bike sooner rather than later.
"He has told us he would like to be back within a couple of weeks but obviously this means we have no alternative but to use the rider replacement facility on Monday against Belle Vue because under the 2007 regulations you are only allowed a guest for your number one."
