WOLVERHAMPTON collected a point from their 47-43 defeat at Belle Vue on Good Friday afternoon.
The Monmore men needed a maximum 5-1 from the last race to secure the win but British Grand Prix star Chris Harris was the hero for the Aces after a tense finish. He also top scored for the home side with 12.
Freddie Lindgren top scored for the Parrys International Wolves in front of a bumper crowd with 11 and there was an encouraging display from reserve Ricky Wells who scored 8+1, his best of the season so far.
Lindgren said: "I'm proud of the team today, everyone fought hard.
"We wanted the win but had to settle for a league point in the end."
