WOLVERHAMPTON are still left searching for their first away point of the season following their 60-33 defeat at Swindon on Thursday.

Wolves remained without Tai Woffinden, and with Robert Miskowiak away on Polish Championship duty, they were again unable to track their full team.

Freddie Lindgren battled gamely with 13 and Ty Proctor gave him some support with 8+1, but guest Rory Schlein could only manage 3+1 and the in-form Robins ran out comfortable winners.

Heat advantages were very much at a minimum and they gained their only one when Lindgren won Heat 5 ahead of Troy Batchelor and Simon Stead whilst on a tactical ride.

With Wolves trailing 32-19 Schlein was also nominated for a double-point ride in Heat 9, but he came up short after being headed home by the Robins pair of Batchelor and Stead.

Swindon continued to keep up the pressure even when the match was already won, but Wolves will now need to put this defeat behind them and prepare to bounce-back when they host Birmingham on Monday night in front of the live Sky Sports cameras.

SWINDON 60: Troy Batchelor 14, Peter Kildemand 11+3, Hans Andersen 11, Jason Doyle 10+1, Simon Stead 7+2, Nick Morris 5+2, Ashley Birks 2+1

WOLVERHAMPTON 33: Freddie Lindgren 13, Ty Proctor 8+1, Kenny Ingalls 5+1, Thomas Jorgensen 4, Rory Schlein 3+1, Lukasz Sowka 0, Robert Miskowiak R/R.
