WOLVERHAMPTON'S meeting at Belle Vue was abandoned after three heats with the scores at 11-7.
Reserves Jacob Thorssell and Pontus Aspgren gave Parrys International Wolves an excellent 5-1 in Heat 2 - but the other two races ended as maximums in favour of the Aces.
But in the end that didn't matter as a torrential downpour saw the meeting called to an abrupt halt.
Wolves were already heavily depleted with Tai Woffinden ruled out with a dislocated shoulder and Fredrik Lindgren stranded in Poland after a flight cancellation.
The result does not stand and will be re-arranged at a later date.
Wolves boss Peter Adams said: "It's a bit of a double-edged sword because we were severely weakened by the travel problems Freddie had and the injury to Tai's shoulder.
"This gives us the opportunity now to come back here with a full team, whenever that may be."
