WOLVERHAMPTON moved five points clear at the top of the Elite League with comfortable 55-38 victory over Eastbourne at Monmore Green.
On a night of exciting action, Parrys International Wolves bounced back from a slow start with a tremendous mid-meeting surge to take a comprehensive victory and all three points.
And boss Peter Adams was delighted with the performance.
He said: "We expected a bit of backlash from Eastbourne after they were thrashed at home against rivals Poole on Friday.
"In the early stages that looked to be the case, but we gradually got on top of them and won quite comfortably in the end.
"It was another strong performance where everyone played their part."
Fredrik Lindgren was in majestic form to lead the home side, whilst Chris Harris also suffered only one defeat as he guested for the injured Tai Woffinden.
Polish star Adam Skornicki continued his excellent form with a hard-fought 11+1, whilst his middle order partner Ricky Wells recovered from a slow start to make a solid contribution.
Down at reserve, Jacob Thorssell and Ludvig Lindgren both posted useful returns having been involved in some action-packed racing to complete a strong team performance.
WOLVERHAMPTON 55: Fredrik Lindgren 14, Adam Skornicki 11+1, Chris Harris 10+1, Ricky Wells 8, Ludvig Lindgren 6+2, Jacob Thorssell 6+2, Ty Proctor r/r.
EASTBOURNE 38: Bjarne Pedersen 14, Timo Lahti 9+2, Kim Nilsson 6, Simon Gustafsson 5, Denis Gizatullin 3, Cameron Woodward 1+1, Lukas Dryml r/r.
