PARRYS International Wolves put in a convincing performance to take all three Elite League points from a 55-37 victory over Coventry at Monmore Green.
A strong all-around team display ensured Wolverhampton comfortably defeated their Midlands rivals to move back up to second in the Elite League table.
The home side recorded just three last places all evening, and team boss Peter Adams was happy with the performance.
He said: “The team did very well, particularly considering Freddie (Lindgren) didn't score as many as we would expect on his first meeting back from injury.
“All in all it was a good performance from all the boys, and we are very happy with all three points.”
Tai Woffinden looked back to his best as he suffered just one defeat riding at No.5, whilst Adam Skornicki continued his sparkling form to earn a Heat 15 appearance.
His middle-order partner Ricky Wells also put in a strong showing, whilst reserves Jacob Thorssell and Ludvig Lindgren both impressed to bolster the lower order.
Despite a frustrating evening, Fredrik Lindgren also notched two paid wins on his return from injury to complete a highly satisfactory night’s work for the Monmore men.
Wolverhampton 55: Tai Woffinden 12+1, Adam Skornicki 12+1, Jacob Thorssell 9+2, Ricky Wells 9, Ludvig Lindgren 8+1, Freddie Lindgren 5+2, Ty Proctor R/R
Coventry 37: Stuart Robson 11, Aaron Summers 9+1, Scott Nicholls 7, Krzysztof Kasprzak 5, Michal Szczepaniak 3, Grzegorz Zengota 2+1, Adam Roynon 0
