PAWLICKI WINS WORLD U21 TITLE

FORMER Wolves favourite Piotr Pawlicki has been crowned the new World Under 21 Speedway Champion.

The Polish star scored 12 points in the third and final round of the 2014 Championships- meaning he only dropped three points in this years competition.

It’s another feather in the cap for Pawlicki in 2014 after finishing runner-up in the Polish Championships earlier this year as well as securing a gold medal for Poland in the World Under 21 Team Championships.

Jacob Thorssell also put in another solid performance by scoring ten points to finish joint sixth in the series whilst Lasse Bjerre scored a creditable eight points.
