PARRYS International Wolves secured three more Elite League points after a 52-38 victory over Lakeside.

The Monmore men battled back after a tough opening two heats and the scores were level after six races.

But from heat seven onwards, it was the hosts who would go on to provide the final nine race winners to help guide them to an impressive 14 point victory.

Team Manager Peter Adams said: "Tonight was almost a re-run of the Belle Vue meeting where we got off to a fairly slow start but fought back mid-meeting and went on to get a fully deserved win.

"It was another good performance from all of the team and in all honesty Josh Bates probably shouldn't have raced tonight because he has been really ill.

"We take the positives out of tonight which will take us into two searching examinations against Lakeside away and Coventry back here next Monday."

American Ace Ricky Wells dropped just one point to an opponent bagging a breathtaking 12+2.

Lewis Blackbird notched 11+1 with a classy display from the reserve berth.

Swedish duo Freddie Lindgren and Peter Karlsson chipped in with nine points apiece whilst Tobiasz Musielak looked much more comfortable on his way to seven points.

Jacob Thorssell's night got off to a winning start but then went on to score just one point from his next three rides.

Josh Bates endured a tough night but battled on through illness on another impressive home victory for the Wolves.
