WOLVERHAMPTON fans can get one last fix of Monmore Green action this season when Nathan Greaves races in Monday’s F.A.S.T Golden Hammer.

And Cradley have offered a £5 discount to all Parrys International Wolves season ticket holders which means they will be admitted for just £10 adults and £5 concessions.

It’s a gesture made by Heathens bosses to show their appreciation to Wolverhampton for once again hosting the club in the absence of a track of their own in the Dudley / Sandwell area.

Greaves, a title winner with Cradley in 2013 and 14, has enjoyed an impressive season in the Premiership with Wolverhampton.

He said: “I’ve enjoyed this season with Wolves, I’ve been riding with some great riders who have helped me a lot and given me loads of good advice.

“This has been the best season of my career so far, so I’ve been pleased with how things have gone.

“I feel like I’ve improved as the season has progressed. I had a tough spell in the middle when I had a few crashes and had problems with my equipment, but we got that sorted and I’ve ended strongly.

“It’ll be nice to be back at Cradley for the Golden Hammer. I’ve improved a lot since I last rode for them, and I’ll hopefully be able to show I can get around Monmore a lot quicker these days!”

The F.A.S.T Golden Hammer is promoting the good work of Dudley Stroke Association and is a standard 16 riders, 20 races format with the winner decided after five rides each.

Greaves is bidding to add his name to those of Sam Ermolenko and Peter Karlsson as Wolverhampton riders winning the prestigious Hammer prize.
