WOLVERHAMPTON riders and management were on hand to join in the celebrations at Wolverhampton Wanderers’ end of season awards event.

The Molinuex men romped to the Sky Bet Championship title and will be rubbing shoulders with clubs like Manchester City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs next season.

Speedway stars Rory Schlein, Kyle Howarth and Ashley Morris were in attendance alongside boss Peter Adams as guests of Dave Parry and club sponsors Parrys International (coach our operators).

Parrys International regularly appear in the Molineux programme giving invaluable publicity to the speedway club – and they were sponsors of the goal of the season award.

Local lad Morris said: “It was a true honour and a wonderful experience to be at the awards night.

“I want to thank Dave Parry for the invitation and making it possible for us to be there, it was a very special occasion after everything Wolves have achieved this season and I’m sure they will do well in the Premier League.”

Meanwhile Jacob Thorssell and Sam Masters are flying back in from Sweden today to race in tonight’s Premiership Riders’ Individual Championship at Poole.

The meeting features two riders from every club which means Grand Prix stars Jason Doyle, Craig Cook and Niels-Kristian Iversen are all included.

And on Thursday night at Sheffield Schlein, Howarth and Nathan Greaves are in the British Semi-Final with the top eight heading through to next month’s final at Belle Vue.
