WOLVERHAMPTON star Jacob Thorssell reckons it will be a totally different challenge when they take on Belle Vue in Manchester on Wednesday (7.30).

The Parrys International Wolves beat the Aces 49-41 on home shale on Monday, creating a five-point gap between the two sides in the Premiership standings.

But the Monmore men know the size of the task that faces them at the National Speedway Stadium, having already lost 57-33 there in the Knockout Cup earlier this season.

And Thorssell admits they can’t afford to fall too far behind early on.

“That’s what cost them at Wolverhampton on Monday and we know we have to make a pretty strong start,” he said.

“It’s always a tough meeting there; you have to be able to go so fast around their track and you have to find a set-up to get the best speed out of your bikes.

“But we had a good win as a team on Monday and hopefully we can go and get some more league points.”

BELLE VUE: Craig Cook, Steve Worrall, Dan Bewley, Rohan Tungate, Max Fricke, Jye Etheridge, Damian Drozdz.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Jacob Thorssell, Ashley Morris, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Rory Schlein, Cameron Heeps, Nathan Greaves.
