WOLVERHAMPTON are gearing up for their traditional Bank Holiday double with Belle Vue.

Parrys International Wolves head to Manchester at 12 noon on Monday before hosting the Aces back at Monmore Green later the same night with a slightly later start time of 8pm.

Belle Vue have won both of their Premiership Supporters’ Cup fixtures so far while Wolverhampton took a consolation point from their narrow defeat at Peterborough.

The current standings mean Wolves have to deny Belle Vue a victory at the National Speedway Stadium to have any chance of topping the Northern Group.

Team boss Peter Adams said: “We know we’re in for a tough couple of meetings because like ourselves, Belle Vue have built a pretty strong side this year.

“We always look forward to testing ourselves against them though because they’re our new found rivals in recent years.

“I’m expecting two good meetings but we know what we need to do if we want to stay in with a chance of getting through.”

Belle Vue include current Australian Champion Max Fricke and former Wolf Ricky Wells.

For the night fixture at Monmore Green, turnstiles open at 7pm where there will be kids attractions and Young Lions junior demonstration races.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Kyle Howarth, Scott Nicholls, Nick Morris R/R, Rory Schlein, Ashley Morris, Luke Becker.

BELLE VUE: Max Fricke, Steve Worrall, Dan Bewley, Ricky Wells, Kenneth Bjerre, Dimitri Berge, Jaimon Lidsey.
