WOVERHAMPTON can take another big step towards a play-off spot when they face rivals King’s Lynn in a big Monmore showdown tonight (7.30).

With Ipswich slipping up at home to Poole last Thursday the race for the top four has been blown wide open with only Swindon and Poole looking set for the end of season shootout.

Three more points for Parrys International Wolves – as well as denying Lynn a point – would be a major shot in the arm.

Club officials can confirm there is NO live TV coverage of this meeting after confusion amongst fans with BT Sport picking up their weekly broadcasts to include every play-off event from next Monday.

Wolverhampton will be without Kyle Howarth who suffered a dislocated collarbone at the weekend and Lynn have brought in experienced Dane Ulrich Ostergaard to replace the injured Nicklas Porsing.

Wolves boss Peter Adams, back in the UK after working with World Champio Tai Woffinden in Germany at the weekend, said: “This is a big meeting and we have everything to race for.

“The opportunity has grown for us to make it into the top four and tonight is very important. We need the backing of our supporters to make it happen.”

Howarth is set to see a specialist regarding his shoulder in the hope he can complete the season.
