WOLVERHAMPTON ace Jacob Thorssell insists his side should hold no fear ahead of the forthcoming Premiership play-offs.

Table-topping Poole chose to face Ipswich in the Semi-Finals, meaning the Parrys International Wolves are now gearing up to take on Swindon.

The first leg will be held at Monmore Green this coming Monday (September 30, 7.30) with the decider at The Abbey Stadium in Wiltshire on Thursday, October 3 (7.30).

The two sides have contested some real classics in recent times with plenty of highs and lows from the 2009 and 2017 Grand Finals.

And their league clashes this campaign have been equally as thrilling.

But Swedish National Champion Thorssell insists Wolves have got what it takes to progress – despite the Robins being many people’s pick for the title.

“I think we are hitting the form correctly at the biggest part of the season,” Thorssell said.

“All the guys have had some good meetings lately and now we need to just all click and all fire on the same night in the play-offs.

“At the end of the day, this is what we’ve been fighting for all season and while we’re glad to be in the play-offs, we won’t be happy unless we win them.

“We’ve got the form, we’ve been battling to get the results and now it’s time to take things up another level.

“We know we can beat anybody in this league home or away and over two legs we are even more confident.

“Of course we’ve still got a couple of big jobs to do but we’re not scared of anybody.

"The fans have been brilliant again this year but now we need them to turn up in even bigger numbers and make lots of noise for us on Monday."
